James Veness from Energy Sparks held an interesting KS2 assembly about energy use. The Eco-Council loved using the thermal image camera and went around the school to identify where we are losing heat.

On Wednesday a group of Year 2 children attended an athletics event at The Bridge stadium.
On Wednesday we held our annual Harvest Festivals with two assemblies led by Mandy Leddin, Children’s Worker at St. Mark’s Church.
Year 2 used their mapping skills to navigate a local walk along North heath Lane this week.
The Year 6 children had a wonderful week at Bowles and spent the week challenging themselves in a range of ways!
The Year 1 children were very surprised this week to find mysterious footprints and a giant egg in the cloakroom!
Our new Reception children started school this week and have quickly settled into their newly refurbished classrooms.
As we begin the new school term, I wanted to take this opportunity to welcome both our returning families and those joining us for the first time.
We say goodbye and good luck to all our amazing Year 6 children moving on to their new schools and thank them for their commitment and hard work this year.
